MASKS AND FACE PROTECTION

In industrial and healthcare settings, choosing the appropriate face mask is a key component in minimizing the spread of potentially infectious diseases. ASTM International is held as one of the largest standards for the testing of face masks. Pro Choice Safety adopts ASTM F2100-11 standards.

The KN95 mask refers to a filtration efficiency of greater than 95% for non-oily particles above 0.075 microns, and the diameter of the new coronavirus pneumonia virus is about 0.1 to 0.12 microns.

Gloves

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce employee exposure when the employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.

Pro Choice Safety offers a full selection of the appropriate hand protection.

Hearing Protection

Hearing damage is one of the most common injuries in the workplace. Millions of people experience some type of hearing loss, ringing in the ears, or other issues related to being exposed to loud noises at work. Unfortunately, hearing damage can occur over the course of months or even years.  As a result of the time, people do not notice it is happening at first. Interestingly, just because someone does not notice the noise, does not mean they are not damaging their hearing.
